Tucuman etc.

After Salta we headed to tucuman to see Marcos's brother. I have zero photos of the city itself. I honestly think that the city was not even worth to photograph. It was the most awful city I've ever been to. It was full of
a) Trash! and I'm not talking about some bottles here, some bottles there. I'm talking about tons of shit, shit, shit everywhere.
b) Dead animals. Yea, I couldn't stop crying after seeing too many dogs, cats, horses on the side of the road. Dead. Obviously they had crashed with cars passing by. To me it was shocking, awful, sad and upsetting. I've never seen such a thing in my life... And I never wanna see it again!
c) Dead people. Okey, I admit that this sounds a little bit more dramatic than it is but the streets of tucuman were full of memorial spots for people who had died there because of car accidents. In every curve you could see those. It made me so sad, all those people are now dead. Probably the way they were killed was awful and painful. I couldn't stop thinking of different ways to die on the road. I guess I'm quite sensitive but yeah, it really pulled me down. And Marcos was not very pleased when I was counting accidents while he was driving.. :D
(BUT!!! this is just my opinion. Maybe someone else has better experiences, I don't know, but I'm just talking about mines)
Anyway, before we reached the tucuman city we were driving on this magical road that was amazing (even though it was full of accidents :() but it was like a rainforest and the clouds were so low that at some point we were higher above them. :O

That's it. I didn't take any photos in Gordoba where we stayed for one night (because it was just a big city like buenos aires)..

And now lets get to the souvenirs we bought!
I bought this poncho for myself. Salta is definitely a poncho place! I couldn't resist them!

Don't blame us, blame the wineries.. Yeah I know, maybe we took it a little bit too far. :D But we really got to know a lot about wines, the tastes, how they're made etc. In every winery they made us taste 2-4 different wines and if we really liked them - we bought them.. :D

An apron from the winery of callia. That's for Marcos. He's the cook in our house... I barely know how to boil pasta right. (it always ends up either too raw or over cooked) :(
